Volganik Rock® was founded in 2022 by designer Alina Volganik with a vision to create stylish, high-quality purses and handbags that reflect her distinct aesthetic and love for rock music. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Volganik Rock® brings Alina’s bold, edgy style to life through unique bag designs featuring studs, chains, and other rock-inspired embellishments.
Our Founder’s Story
Alina’s passion for fashion and music began at a young age while growing up in Russia. She recalls endless hours spent sketching dress designs and listening to bands like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Queen. After studying fashion design at the Art Institute of Philadelphia, Alina worked for major brands like Calvin Klein and Guess. However, she yearned to launch her own label that fused her interests in music, fashion, and self-expression.
In 2022, Alina took the leap and founded Volganik Rock®. The brand’s name pays homage to her family name “Volganik” and her lifelong love of rock music. Alina serves as head designer and creative director, imbuing each Volganik Rock® piece with her bold aesthetic. She finds inspiration everywhere – in albums covers, music videos, city streets, and fellow rock music fans sporting their favorite band tees.
“I want every woman to feel confident and badass carrying one of my bags,” says Alina. “My goal is to create accessories that are an extension of your personal style and inner rockstar.”
